Before you make your decision about a career change, take the time to evaluate the transferable skills that you offer and how you want to convey this skills on your resume and subsequently, in the interview.  Do not make a final decision until you do this.  Otherwise, you are setting yourself in a position to incur a lot more stress and heartache than necessary.
