Networking Tip - Demonstrate Your Value - Hiring managers expect you to research the company prior to the meeting. However, go the extra mile and build a scenario that will allow you to demonstrate how you can make an immediate impact. For instance, if the company recently released a new product, write a one (1) page "benefits" page about how you would present the product to a potential customer. Demonstrate that you are prepared to make an immediately impact / return on investment.
