Job Search Preparation - Tip #1

If you are in a position where you must find a new job (pandemic-related or otherwise), you need to gather your composure and build a plan of action. Decide on your direction, begin the networking process, re-review / update your resume and start reading quality print / online publications (i.e. The Wall Street Journal, Forbe, Financial Times) and your preferred local newspaper / online publication of choice to identify quality companies, industries and local economic trends. Remember to put yourself on a budget and inquiry about unemployment insurance / severance package from your old employer.

In any case, unless you are retiring, take these steps and you will shorten the job search cycle.
