Interviewing for a position within your current company? Remember, you are a known entity and background checks are much easier for the employer. Therefore, your focus should be on your achievements and why you wish to be considered for a promotion or change in department. The latter can get tricky so stay away from conjecture and stick with your skills and accomplishments. Also, changes are that the interview will know you so be prepared for criticism about your performance and in-house relationships.
