Another example of how WFH is diminishing...While I understand what the senior executives are try to do, what if you are a manager in an expensive area (ex. SF, LA, NY, Miami) and you read this line of the mandate:
"Managers who don't live within 50 miles of an IBM facility, a source told Bloomberg, must move closer by the beginning of August or "separate" from the company"
What do you do? If you live 50 miles from the office in order to afford to buy a home and you read this...is it legal (YES)...enforceable (NOT SURE...ethical (I say no) (Hmmm... - tell me what you think).
