ATS - Word Count -
Although I am vehemently against resume length exceeding two (2) pages, the number of words / characters do not affect ATS scores. However, the long the resume, with more extraneous content is not view in a positive manner by hiring managers.
Too many people want to "fluff" the resume. The resume is not a creative writing document, it is a business document. Your personality will come out in the interview. Let your business achievements stand tall.
