Career Changers:
For those that are very frustrated with their job search, heed this advice:
Do not try to do too many things at one time. The more variables you include on your search, the longer it is going to take and the more stressed / frustrated you will become. Job searches are taking longer now given the economic and political conditions (state, local and fed) and coupled with the traditional early summer time slowdown in hiring and the reluctance of employers to define WFH and hybrid, you are only adding unnecessary frustration.
In short, minimize the following variables down to 1-2. Variables are defined as: (non-inclusive):
1. WFH or Hybrid
2. Geo relocation
3. Career change
4. Moving from an individual contributor to manager
5. Change of industry
