Defining your boss:
This is about behavior, not skill. My next series of posting will hopefully give you insight about your boss' behavior and help you decide how to handle the relationship.
1. Definition of a Narcissist - Someone who is selfish, self absorbed, cares only about his / her best interests. However, a narcissist is sensitive to what others think about him / her
2. Definition of a Psychopath - (do not equate to an axe murder as the 6pm local news does - very different). This personality trait in the workplace is someone is is a narcissist but goes one step further - he/she does not give a damn about what anybody else thinks about them. They pretend to care but they actually do not, offer to guilt or remorse for their actions, which in many cases, are dishonest.
