One of the most common resume mistakes that comes across my desk is a document that lacks direction. Frequently, a resume contains a great deal of information about a job candidate, but the content is disjointed, too general and lacks focus.  this is a buyers (employers) market and therefore, candidates really need to zone in on the type of job they are pursuing.
