Business Correspondence, Not a Love Letter...

...well, how about realizing that your resume is not a personal note to a friend or family member.  A resume is a business document and therefore it should be concise and written in a telegraphic style. There should be no mentions of "I" or "me," and only minimal use of "articles".

For example:
 I was responsible for opening new accounts that added $2.6M in sales

Should be changed to:
Developed new product that added $2.6M in sales
