1. Older workers often have an extensive "rolodex" (that's a word we have not used in a while - LOL) of contacts that can be leveraged for sales, marketing services, suppliers, resellers, service providers, etc. - professionals who have build a long list of successes as well as impeccable reputations.
Having access to a strong network makes businesses operate better. Smart employers get their ROI when investments are made in senior professionals.
