Employees become disgruntled when companies hire new staff for similar roles at a higher rate or pay. Why do companies do this?
This will be the focal point of this week's posting.
Do begin, companies are willing to pay new workers higher because they bring intellectual understanding and new skills that may not be prevalent in the existing organizations. In short, companies believe that in order to remain competitive, they want to create a well-rounded workforce that holds diverse experience level, product / service exposure, market / competitive intelligence and new unique / expanded skills.
This is a generally-accepted principal across all levels, esp. middle level through mid-senior level.
