Salary Negotiation - Who is sitting on the other side of the table?
Companies don’t negotiate; people do. And before you can influence the person sitting opposite you, you have to understand that person, their perspective, influences, limitations, your ongoing relationship with that person.
To break this down, are you negotiating with HR, the outside recruiter or your future boss? Identifying this person will give you greater perspective.
