Networking - I know networking can be challenging for many of you. Let's be frank, it is not the easiest or most comfortable thing to do.
A good way to reconnect / network with colleagues, old bossees, vendors, etc. is to write them a LI recommendation. Don't ask if they want one, just do it! When they write / call to thank you, it is a good opportunity to catch u and let he / she know what you are up to.
And guess what, you will probably get a recommendation in return. Trust that LI recommendations are valuable on multiple levels. Therefore, a simple act of goodwill will be reciprocated AND you will be able to reconnect / network.
