It is amazing to me, given the challenges concerning qualified / willing applicants for available jobs, that more companies do not factor in ageism into the DEI initiatives. I did a presentation about ageism yesterday to members of a LA-based organization and I indicated that only 10% of DEI initiatives discuss ageism (Harvard Business Review).
I can and will only ask: Why?
