Salary Negotiation:
Before you provide a counteroffer to a compensation plan for a new role, conduct research on market / industry, geographical and job classification compensation. You need data to support your counteroffer, showcasing you position, with justifications.
Payscale.com; Salary.com and even Indeed.com (yes, I said Indeed) are good sources of data to validate your demands.
