AI / ATS
While this argument is really apples to oranges, the fact is that ATS hurts all parties far more than it helps. If you want to get rid of ATS, here is my idea:
💡If You Don’t Accept AI Resumes — Then Stop Using ATS. Fair?
The other day, I faced several articles saying that companies dislike AI-generated resumes because they “lack uniqueness and humanity.” They’re too perfect, too polished, and supposedly have “nothing to discuss.” But here’s the irony — As most people know, the same companies use ATS systems (Applicant Tracking Systems) and automatically reject resumes that aren’t perfectly formatted or keyword-optimized. So… candidates are expected to write resumes for machines, but also to sound human enough for recruiters? Make it make sense! 😅 In my experience, I’ve seen many great candidates get rejected by ATS — only to manually review their resumes later and realize they were perfect for the role. 👉 My thought is simple: Let’s be transparent with each other. If you don’t accept AI-generated resumes, maybe don’t rely on ATS either. Hire HUMANS to review so you don't lose great talent! Fair enough? hashtag
