Market Sector Growth - Job Search 2026 - Project Managers
Through my readings, it is clear that digital transformation, government (fed / state / local infrastructure initiatives) organizational changes and artificial intelligence (AI) (of course) will continue to evolve and change workforce / workplace dynamics, resulting in the demand for strong, experienced project managers (tech and otherwise).
While hiring of junior level project managers may slow, primarily because executives are still trying to gauge the effect of AI in certain job classifications, project managers with budgetary background, strategic orientations, a network of freelancers / vendors and understanding of their respective industry strengths (cybersecurity, AI / tech platforms, healthcare / biotech, construction / civil engineering) will be in demand.
