While this argument is really apples to oranges, the fact is that ATS hurts all parties far more than it helps.

💡If You Don’t Accept AI Resumes — Then Stop Using ATS. Fair?

The other day, I faced several articles saying that companies dislike AI-generated resumes because they “lack uniqueness and humanity.”
They’re too perfect, too polished, and supposedly have “nothing to discuss.”
But here’s the irony —
As most people know, the same companies use ATS systems (Applicant Tracking Systems) and automatically reject resumes that aren’t perfectly formatted or keyword-optimized.
So… candidates are expected to write resumes for machines, but also to sound human enough for recruiters?
Make it make sense! 😅
In my experience, I’ve seen many great candidates get rejected by ATS — only to manually review their resumes later and realize they were perfect for the role.
👉 My thought is simple:
Let’s be transparent with each other.
If you don’t accept AI-generated resumes, maybe don’t rely on ATS either.
Hire HUMANS to review so you don't lose great talent!
Fair enough?
