LinkedIn Groups

        i.            Join LinkedIn Groups that are endemic to your skills or field of endeavor.  Share knowledge that will help others grow in their career without jeopardizing confidentiality issues.  Be a prominent member or at the very least, have a minimal presence within your choose LinkedIn group.  As a member of a group, you can lead discussions and recommend articles / compelling content to members of the group.  Once you have joined a LinkedIn Group(s) {note – you can join up to 50 Groups} and have established yourself as a known quantity, send a “Request to Connect” with other group members.  This is a fundamental method of building your network.
