If you are planning to utilize Twitter (or other online "social media") as a component of your job search, be certain to complete your profile. Be comprehensive as possible. If you are
current on technology let people know, especially if you are an experienced professional. One of the prejudices about
older workers is that they lack knowledge of technology and social
media. But if you have a fully filled out profile with a history of
tweets you will reassure potential employers that you know what you are
doing.
