Interview Advice:
During interviews this question is often asked to gauge your values and goals. Should you be asked to speak about a person or event that truly inspired you, don't mention the greatest of your favorite business leader (ex. Elon Musk) or your event (the nomination of your favorite politician). Rather, speak about a past boss or mentor and what he / she did that motivates you. If this is about an event, speak about a project / campaign that had some rough patches but was ultimately successful.
