Address on Resume - Rule of Thumb

When you are sending in your resume directly to the hiring authority, include your street address (not a P.O. Box. Hiring managers could care less about where you pick up your mail; their concern is about how long your commute will be.

When you are posting your resume on Monster, CL, LinkedIn, etc., take your address off the resume.  No need, for security reasons, to broadcast your address in the public domain.
