July 4th Resolution

Ok - I know resolutions are for New Years but so what?  Here is your July 4th or "mid-year" resolution:

1. I will only dedicate 3 - 5 % of my time using job boards to look for a new job.
2. I will heavily weight my time looking for work networking (attending events, calling colleagues, connecting with old colleagues on LinkedIn

Job boards are becoming a waste of energy.  Point yourself in the right direction and network!
