Job Title Definitions
For the rest of this year, all my posts will be about job titles and definitions of each title. Sounds boring, it is. But I will tell you that job titles are important and it is a difference maker in terms of pay, upward mobility, authority, prestige and more.
All of you need to be aware of what a job title truly means.
SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sales operations managers make sure sales teams are running as efficiently and productively as possible. This is not a traditional back-office role. Since the role has a strong focus on management of CRM systems, the job holder will likely have a college degree and a certification / credential as a Salesforce or related Administrator. The holder of this role onboards new sales staff, trains on the use of the CRM, establishes protocols and at times, will work with clients.
