DATA ANALYST
A data analyst collects
and stores data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or
other behaviors. They bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and
accuracy of that data, then process, design, and present it in ways to help
people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions.
Data
Analysts are process-driven with strong research skills, under the significance
of data and are able to develop and evaluate key performance indicators. Essentially, a good data analyst makes the
overall productivity of the business better.
Data Scientists are a more advanced version of a data analyst. I will post that definition tomorrow (Jan. 6)
Educational
Requirements: 99.9% of companies will
ask for a Bachelors degree and many will state “Masters” or “Masters preferred”.
