Be realistic and make your life easier. Do not throw too many variables into the decision making process.
In other words, if you are not working, do not search for a new company and a career change. Concentrate on getting back into the workforce, then think about the career pivot. Job search cycles are longer now than ever and that more variables your add, then longer it will take to earn your next paycheck.
