Job Search Best Practice - Stop Spraying and Praying

Don't just upload your resume in response to job postings, then go back to the couch, act like you worked hard at identifying the right opportunities and turn on some silly talk show.  You need to do more. 

Ramp up your networking.  Attend local events, contact former colleagues, classmates, friends, even neighbor, ask for introductions or informational interviews with people that they believe can be helpful during this job search.  Keep your busy and meeting new people.  Something will break.  It only takes one good meeting to lead to more opportunities.
