Apply for jobs that match your qualifications
After you have established your career direction and strategy (hopefully it will include networking, it is now time to write your resume. You want make sure the resume is written in reverse chronological format, is ATS compliant, no more than two (2) pages, factors in ageism issues, includes education / trainings / certifications and is easily adaptable to each position that you are applying. Failure to customize will likely result in rejection, esp. if you are sending the resume in a web interface without networking (you will be lucky to get a 1-3% response rate.
